Global Petroleum Show 2008

The 2008 Global Petroleum Show was a very successful 3 day event held at the Stampede Grounds, Calagry, Canada. From Tuesday the 10th of June until Thursday 12th of June, 62,000 registered attendees visited the 2,000 exhibiting companies.

Stockholm Precision Tools AB were one of the exihibitors with a booth in the Sweden section in the Upper Big Four pavillion and represented by Orlando Ramirez and Shane Rawolle.

All the exhibitors are linked to the oil and gas industry in some way, shape or form. Stockholm Precision Tools once again had its North Seeking Gyro on display. With a large amount of visitors to our booth, it was a busy 3 days. On day one of the show, SPT had a visit to its booth from Sweden`s Ambassador to Canada, Ingrid Iremark and other Swedish delegates. To kickstart SPT`s show, Ingrid took the first survey for the gyro that was on display!

Since the end of the show, SPT can confirm that they now have a joint venture with a Calgary oil services company to put North Seeking Gyros` into operation across the Canadian province of Alberta.
