SPT MagCruiser Nano™

The MagCruiser Nano™ is an ultra compact memory multi-shot, magnetic surveying instrument with drop capability that provides magnetic azimuth along with inclination and toolface readings.

It is designed for boreholes of the mining industry and it has a temperature rating of +125°C. It is basically a size optimized version of the MagCruiser™ with simplified features.

The tool comes with a compact data pad for field use. With it, you can set assignments, download data and test the tool. The data pad is rugged and easy to use. The data pad connects direct to the instrument for programming of the tool, retrieving data after a survey and total management of survey results. The data pad can be connected to a PC for recharging. The instrument runs on long-lasting lithium-ion rechargeable batteries.

The Nano is a simple to use device for fast survey results for the driller or surveyor. It can record up to 10 different surveys per run. The tool can be programmed to begin at a certain time with interval times between surveys. No pressure barrel or connection cables are required. Connect the instrument to the data pad, download the data and scroll through the results.

This is one small instrument with a small price tag that should be on site at every mining rig.
